CONSTITUTION AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT WEEK RESOURCE FAIR, 2017

For the second year in a row Foundation for Democracy and Justice partnered with the Sacramento State Community Engagement Center to host the Community and Civic Engagement Resource Fair in honor of Constitution Day! We were joined by various on and off campus organizations to promote civic engagement and volunteer opportunities in the community. Thank you to the participating organizations and to the CEC for their continued efforts to increase student participation!

INTERNATIONAL RESCUE COMMITTEE PRESENTATION

On August 14th, Foundation for Democracy and Justice was honored to have Judge Jim Mize present to the International Rescue Committee members on issues relating to family law. Guests were able to listen to Judge Mize discuss the ins and outs of the legal system and ask questions of the local family law expert. We are grateful to Judge Mize for volunteering his time to present to such a wonderful organization!

The Foundation for Democracy and Justice partnered with CSU Sacramento’s Community Engagement Center to host the First Annual Community and Civic Engagement Week Resource Fair on September 15th, 2016! We were joined byh a dynamic group of campus, community, and state organizations participating in the fair to provide resources and opportunities for students.
